Simpson Strong-Tie JB hangers are 18 gauge top mount hangers that are a great cost effective solution. JBA hangers provide higher loads for 2×10, 2×12 and 2×14 members in 18 gauge steel. The new nail locations on the JBA enable effective use with nailers. The unique two level embossment provides added stiffness to the top flange. The Strong-Tie JB26 top flange hanger features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- LBAZ, BA, B and HHB may also be welded to steel headers with weld size to match material thickness (approximate thickness shown). The minimum required weld to the top flanges is 1/8″ x 2″ (1/8″ x 1 7/16″ for LBAZ) fillet weld to each side of each top flange tab for 14 and 12 gauge and 3/16″ x 2″ fillet weld to each side of each top flange tab for 7 gauge. Distribute the weld equally on both top flanges. Welding cancels the top and face nailing requirements. Consult the code for special considerations when welding galvanized steel. The area should be well-ventilated. Weld on applications produce the maximum allowable down load listed.
- Ledgers must be evaluated for each application separately. Check TF dimension, nail length and nail location on ledger.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
