The Strong-Tie ABU66SS stainless steel 6×6 post base is perfect for your next deck, patio or pergola build/remodel. Designed for securing your nominal 6×6 posts to a concrete slab or footing, the ABU series provides the best uplift performance of all the AB series post bases (ABA,ABU,ABW).
Features:
- The 316L stainless steel provides exceptional corrosion resistance. It’s acceptable for use near saltwater, livestock or other harsh conditions where exposure to chemicals may occur. If any of these conditions apply, you need the stainless version of the ABU base for your project. If you’re building in a regular outdoor environment that isn’t so harsh, check out our ABU66Z 6×6 post base w/ZMAX coating.
- A slotted hole for the concrete anchor allows for adjustment so you can achieve a perfect post alignment.
- The ABU66SS provides a 1” standoff to get your 6×6 post 1” off the ground. Not only will your project be code compliant, but it will keep your post end from sitting in standing water to prevent unwanted rotting and damage.
Installation:
- Place the base, load transfer plate and nut on the anchor bolt. Loosely tighten the nut.

Returns
Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
