Simpson Strong-Tie CB Column bases are a sturdy cast-in place anchor that are designed for heavy duty column loads. The “R” series of column bases are designed exclusively for use with rough cut lumber. The Strong-Tie CB66RHDG features a hot-dip galvanized coating.
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- For full loads, minimum side cover required is 3″ for CB, 2″ for LCB.
- Install all models with bottom of base plate flush with concrete.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Returns
Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
