Simpson Strong-Tie ECC end column caps provide a high-capacity connection for column-beam combinations. This design requires the correct corresponding machine bolts to be installed for proper installation. The Strong-Tie ECC66HDG post base features a hot-dip galvanized coating. The minimum average coating weight is 2.0 oz./ft2 (per ASTM A123 total both sides). This product requires hot-dip galvanized fasteners (fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153).
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- Bolt holes shall be a minimum of 1/32″ to a maximum of 1/16″ larger than the bolt diameter (per 2005 NDS, section 11.1.2).
- Contact engineered wood manufacturers for connections that are not through the wide face.
Options:
- Straps may be rotated 90° where W1?W2 (see illustration) and for CC5 1/4-6.
- For special, custom, or rough cut lumber sizes, provide dimensions. An optional W2 dimension may be specified. (The W2 dimension on straps rotated 90° is limited by the W1 dimension.)
- Contact engineered wood manufacturers for connections that are not through the wide face.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
