The Simpson Strong-Tie cast-in-place OCB column base helps prevent wood members from rotating. The bottom of its base plate is designed to be flush with the concrete. OCB66 ornamental column base features a flat black powder-coated finish which produces a much more durable and better looking finish than standard paint.
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
- Allowable loads have been increased 60% for wind or earthquake loading. No further increase allowed; reduce where other loads govern.
- Minimum side cover for full loads is 3″ for CBs
- Install all models with bottom of base plate flush with concrete.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Returns
Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
