The Simpson PBV hidden-standoff post base comes in two different sizes for a variety of post shapes. The PBV10PC hidden standoff features a flat black powder-coated finish which produces a much more durable and better looking finish than standard paint.
Installation:
Post:
- Drill a 3/4″ diameter hole, 10″ into the center of the post.
- Clean out dust. Fill hole halfway with Simpson Strong-Tie® SET® epoxy anchoring adhesive.
- Insert all-thread rod and allow epoxy to set and cure.
- Secure standoff to post using four 10d nails except PBV which uses four Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws.
Concrete:
- Drill a 3/4″ diameter hole per anchor design.
- Clean out dust. Fill hole halfway with Simpson Strong-Tie SET epoxy anchoring adhesive.
- Insert post subassembly into hole and allow epoxy to set and cure.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Stock is dynamic. It's not completely managed by us, as we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It is possible that inventory could run out once your order has been placed.
The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
