Notice – This connector is designed for Rough Cut lumber NOT nominal lumber (most common). This will only fit a post that measures an actual 6×6″. If you have a nominal post measuring 5-1/2×5-1/2″ you will need an APVB66 Ornamental Post base.
Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents post bases secure the post or column to concrete and are perfect for outdoor projects, such as pergolas, patio covers and other top-supported structures. These post bases are Zmax finished first and then black powder coated for long lasting outdoor use. The Avant collection features chamfered corners and straight edges for a very clean look when installed. This is a rough cut version of the post base which is designed for a “True 6×6” or sometimes called “old lumber” which means the post actually measures 6″ x 6″. The post base includes a 1″ standoff from the concrete to help avoid post-end rot from moisture. This kit includes the APVB66R post base and the required fasteners for proper installation.

The policy is for 30 days. We will not replace or refund your purchase after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In order for your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same state as you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.
